Moab

Megan and I spent a couple of days over at Moab earlier this month. We found a great campsite right on the Colorado River for only $8/night. We started our drive right as Megan got home from night shift. Amazingly she stayed up through the entire day and even got some hiking in at Arches. 36 hours awake is pretty decent. It also provided me with some pretty sweet pictures of Megan looking haggard… unfortunately I am not allowed to share these pictures. The second day we traveled around the Needles district of Canyonlands. The third day we hiked the Devil’s Garden trail at the end of the main road in Arches. Great hike! Later that day we hit up the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands and watched the sunset at Mesa Arch… pics at left. We are standing above the arch, which is not pictured well to the right.
